H&S Electrotechnologies is a Quebec-based energy services company that delivers energy efficiency and pollution prevention for industrial processes and buildings. They specialize in the mining and extractive metallurgy sectors as well as the metal coating sector.

Hydro One is an electricity delivery company in Ontario, Canada. They work in partnership with customers to promote a conservation culture in Ontario and to help customers reduce their electricity costs.

The Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) is the pre-eminent research-to-commercialization vehicle in Ontario. Created by the Government of Ontario, the OCE facilitates economic growth through support for industrially relevant R&D, the opening of new market opportunities and the commercialization of leading edge discovery.
The OCE was an early-stage investor in Energent technology commercialization. They have also invested in the Energy Hub Management System project.

The University of Waterloo (UW) is a leading public academic institution located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. The university is internationally renowned for pioneering work in the fields of computer science, applied mathematics, engineering and theoretical physics.
The University of Waterloo partners with Energent on joint energy efficiency and sustainability research efforts such as the Energy Hub Management System (EHMS) project. The project is led by UW and involves a multi-disciplinary team of researchers developing an information backbone that provides any energy-consuming building (called an energy hub) with the information and ability to make optimal energy supply and demand decisions.
