EnergentGHG

EnergentGHG (Greenhouse Gas) is Energent's newest module.  EnergentGHG automatically collects actual energy use data, as it occurs in real-time, and calculates the carbon and greenhouse gas emissions.  When used in conjunction with EnergentEM, this module calculates emissions and equivalents using the energy use data.  When EnergentET is installed, GHG becomes a much more powerful tool, providing emission reductions and total savings, on top of emissions and equivalents.  Specifically, EnergentGHG will provide:

  • An intuitive dashboard that brings together vital GHG information in one location
  • Report Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions automatically
  • Translate GHG emissions to equivalents
  • Include your emissions into the supply chain
  • Roll up multiple locations into a single view
  • Benchmark against other locations
  • Set targets
  • Measure and Verify (M&V)
  • Report progress to key stakeholders
  • Prepare for carbon trading opportunities

Key Highlights of EnergentGHG

Dashboard

Energent's dashboard continues to lead the industry for energy monitoring solutions.  The fully configurable view, secure sign-on web portal gives access to vital information for energy and sustainability managers.  It provides a snapshot of current, real-time usage informatino, including emissions, benchmarks, equivalents, and other key performance indicators that your organization wishes to make available.

The Dashboard is your link to Energent's sophisitcated reporting tool, ging access to create standard reports, or ad-hoc reports to drive important energy management decisions, and report to key stakeholders on specific projects.

Carbon and GreenHouse Gas Reporting

Using real-time data, EnergentGHG collects actual energy use data and calculates the carbon and greenhouse gas emissions.  Specifically, this allows EnergentGHG to calculate the following:

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. Audit ready system for regulatory and voluntary reporting

Greenhouse Equivalents. Understanding the impact that emissions have on the environment

Emission Reductions.  Using modeling to create targets; emission reductions can be measured

Greenhouse Gas Equivalents

Greenhouse gas equivalents are a popular way for organizations to relate their impact on the environment in terms that most people are able to understand.  Reporting that your emissions reduction program avoided the emissions from 573 cars is more relevant than reducing emissions by 1 tonne of C02e.

EnergentGHG provides a real opportunity for organizations who are concerned about their environmental impact to accurately measure and display greenhouse gas emissions in meaningful ways.
